R S S Feed

I never knew there was a name for a the drop and drag widgets that would come up on my igoogle. R S S Feeders, also known as Readers and Aggregators make searching easy. If you like a source so much you can keep it close instead of book marking or having to go back and search again. You use a host to bring all your favorites to one place. In a learning environment, that is extremely useful in the sense that you can gather the newest information just by logging in. You can create as many as you want and if you need any specific tool you can always add it and use the resources. You click click and you’re there. It’s organized and filtered to however you want it. The only restriction to it is that you have to make sure you can aggregate it. some don’t have that compatibility but in today’s world it is a lot easier to obtain most of what you need through very specific searches. There are many people already simplifying their lives with the use of RSS. Whether it be for your daily entertainment and news reading, or as an actual tool for projects or school activities. There are a variety of uses evolving everyday with the new technologies coming around. It can be right at the tips of your fingers through a cell or laptop.

Different to me, you already knew how use RSS but you did not know the name for it. But in my case I just try out this new “feature” on the internet and hope so I could learn as soon is possible, because most of the guys on the class are already part of it.

For some reason my name is not appearing in the list of the teacher but this is my address: pilaregus.wordpress.com

You can also aggregate content and download feeds on my mobile devices these days as well. Once your feeds become portable, it helps you stay up to date whenever you have a spare minute or two throughout the day right from your phone.

Now with the cellphones getting more advanced in technology you’re able to look at your feeds while you’re on the go with no access to a computer. I find that the further we develope in technology the more we’re adapting to saving time and getting things that we want to us quicker. RSS feed certainly snuck up on me, but I’ve now got a better understanding of what it has in store.

Yeah it really is that simple. Its like delicious in a way except you don’t bookmark, just see the content updates for sites you’ve subscribed to, no matter where you are. Everything’s become so user friendly since web 2.0 started. Its all about the user’s needs and this is one of the best inventions, in my opinion, ever.
